The “Shenzhen Departure Tax Refund Self-service” WeChat miniprogram, jointly developed by the Shenzhen Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, and Guangdong Huaxing Bank, has been launched. Eligible visitors can scan the QR code below and choose between English and Chinese to access information on Immediate Tax Refund, Departure Tax Refund, Tax Refund Store Locator, and more.

The State Taxation Administration has published “A Guide to the Departure Tax Refund for Overseas Visitors.” Available in over 10 languages — including Chinese, English, Russian, and French — the guide provides details on refundable items, eligibility criteria, currency options, and refund procedures.
