The 2022 Shenzhen International Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development Conference will be held at the Yanzi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pingshan District from Sept. 2 to 3.

A main conference and nine themed forums will be held to present global ideas and experience on cell gene therapy, innovative drugs, medical devices and other frontiers of the biomedical industry.

Themed “Building a New Land for the Health Industry with New Opportunities Offered by the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and the Construction of Shenzhen into a Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,” the conference will take advantage of the financial industry’s presence in the GBA to develop the biomedical industry.

The conference aims to boost business cooperation and investment in the industry, build Pingshan into a world-class biomedical industrial center, and facilitate the development of China's health industry.

Two years ago, the 2020 Shenzhen International Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development Conference was held for the first time with conferences and a fair, attracting over 1,000 conference participants and over 10,000 fair participants, becoming an influential event in the medical and health industry in Shenzhen.
