1. Go to Shenzhen Foreign Experts Affairs Administration to apply for Alien Employment License or Foreign Experts Work Permit. Add: Service Hall, 1/F, East Wing, Xincheng Building, 1025 Shennan Road Central, Futian District (福田区深南中路1025号新城大厦东座一楼办事大厅)

2. Go to Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office to apply for Confirmation Letter of Invitation. Add: Windows 47 to 50, Administration Service Hall, Zone B, Civic Center, Fuzhong Road 3, Futian District (福田区福中三路市民中心B区行政服务大厅47-50窗口)

3. Applicants go to the Chinese embassies or consulates stated in the Confirmation Letter of Invitation to apply for Z Visa (Vocational). After entering China, applicants must register at local police stations within 24 hours and obtain residence permits within 30 days. During this period of time, applicants are not allowed to leave China. If an applicant does not obtain residence permits within 30 days, he has to apply for another Z Visa outside China and no visa extension or amendment will be granted within Chinese borders.

4. Go to Huanggang Checkpoint Hospital (Kou’an Hospital) in Futian District for health checks. Add: 3/F, Shenzhen Checkpoint Hospital, inside the living area of Huanggang Checkpoint, Binhe Boulevard, Futian District (福田区滨河大道皇岗口岸生活区内，深圳口岸医院三楼)

5. Go to the Shenzhen Foreign Experts Affairs Administration to apply for Alien Employment Permit or Foreign Experts Certificate. Add: Service Hall, 1/F, East Wing, Xincheng Building, 1025 Shennan Road Central, Futian District (福田区深南中路1025号新城大厦东座一楼办事大厅)

6. Take the related documents and go to the exit-entry administration department of the public security bureau of the district where your employer is located for an interview. Click here for addresses of the district-level public security bureaus.

7. Go to the Division of Exit-Entry Administration of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau to apply for Foreigners Residence Permit. Add: 4016 Jiefang Road, Luohu District (罗湖区解放路4016号)
